Both architectural and interior design services for new or renovation projects are provided, depending on the needs of the individual client. Since inception, SMDG's projects have ranged in size from under 1,000 square feet to over 100,000 square feet while construction budgets have ranged from $7 or $8 per square foot to over $250 per square foot. As part of this equation, SMDG offers professional services at competitive rates. SMDG utilizes independent consultants to supplement its permanent staff, allowing the firm flexibility to select individuals with experience suited to a specific project. Because of a hands-on approach to project management, one of the firm's principals is always involved in each project. Such individual attention precludes projects from being passed along from one person or department to another without continuity.
